Using lighting in your landscape project adds quite a bit to your outdoor experience. Lighting adds safety and appeal to your landscape. It also greatly extends the amount of time you can spend in your outdoor living space. Highlight your favorite tree, shrub, or area of your landscape.
Light fixtures come in a wide variety of styles and colors to suit the purpose it will serve. The actual light itself can be manipulated to different levels and colors.
There are LED and Halogen fixtures/bulbs to choose from. LED tends to be more expensive but also has less energy consumption and a much longer bulb life. Halogen has been the standard type of low voltage lighting for years. It is easier on your budget but consumes more energy and has a shorter life span. Whether you choose LED or Halogen, both will be able to provide you with the effect that you want in your landscape.
